To be clear, we are not a print shop. We don’t even play one on TV.
We don’t do complicated print jobs. And if you want a million copies of a glossy color product spec sheet, we’re probably not going to be your best or even least expensive option. Leave that to the pros. But we’re a pretty good option if you just need some fliers or something done. I’m pretty sure we’re way cheaper than Staples or Office Max.
So here’s what we can do.
We have this awesome Ricoh MPC6004ex commercial color printer in the office that is used to print our nationally distributed business-to-business newsletters. When we’re not printing newsletters, the damn thing is just sitting there, and we are paying a monthly lease on it.
So here’s our price list for very simple jobs, just to give the machine something to do.
- Black & white copies: (8.5 x 11) 20# copy paper, single side: 3.5 cents per sheet
- Black & white copies: (8.5 x 11) 20# copy paper, both sides: 7.0 cents per sheet
- Color copies: (8.5 x 11) 20# copy paper, single side: 11.0 cents per sheet
- Color copies: (8.5 x 11) 20# copy paper, both sides: 22.0 cents per sheet
- Black & white copies: (11 x 17 poster size) 20# copy paper, single side: 8.0 cents per sheet
- Black & white copies: (11 x 17 poster size) 20# copy paper, both sides: 16.0 cents per sheet
- Color copies: (11 x 17 poster size) 20# copy paper, single side: 22.0 cents per sheet
- Color copies: (11 x 17 poster size) 20# copy paper, both sides: 44.0 cents per sheet
Inquire about the price of different paper, such as heavier white, colored paper, or card stock.
Here’s how it works:
You email your ready-to-print PDF document to us (ken@thewriteco.com) and provide credit card information IN ADVANCE. (Scroll down for specifics)
We print the file AS IS. We do not proofread. If we see something terribly wrong, we’ll let you know. Otherwise, if you want us to design, edit, proofread etc., we’ll be “incredibly” glad to help, as they say in Hollywood. The cost is $75 per hour, $40 minimum.
You can come and get your copies when they’re done or we can deliver them for a charge ($7.50 per mile round-trip. That’s a lot, but we don’t actually want to deliver). Your copies should be done the same day. We’ll let you know ASAP if we can’t do it on the same day. Our newsletters get top priority.
